Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect secure, scalable, and highly available (HA-DR) solutions on AWS to meet client and business requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end cloud adoption and migration strategies for enterprise applications, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, and Terraform for automated infrastructure deployment.
  • Drive DevOps culture and cloud-native practices across development and operations teams, ensuring agile and reliable software delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with AWS security best practices, manage IAM roles/policies, and enforce encryption, logging, and monitoring standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives and deliver on key milestones.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Analyze existing system architecture and propose improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Stay current with AWS innovations and DevOps trends, applying them to solve technical challenges.

Required Skills:

  • Cloud Platforms: Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, Route 53, etc.)
  • DevOps & Automation: Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines
  • Infrastructure: Linux (LAMP stack), Networking, Security, High Availability, Disaster Recovery
  • Web Development/Configuration: PHP, MySQL, Apache, NGINX, RESTful APIs
  • Monitoring & Security: AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty, AWS Config, IAM, WAF, Security Hub, SIEM integration
  • Project Leadership: Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder communication, technical mentorship, delivery ownership
