  Senior PHP & React Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP & React Developer to join our team and take ownership of building, maintaining, and scaling high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PHP, CodeIgniter, React, and AWS EC2, with a solid understanding of both backend and frontend development.

This is a hands-on technical ownership role where you will be responsible for end-to-end feature development, architecture decisions, performance optimization, API integrations, deployments, and guiding a small team of developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance production-grade web applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, and React
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features from requirement analysis to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable backend architectures
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
  • Work with databases and optimize queries for application performance
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS EC2
  • Configure and troubleshoot application environments on AWS
  • Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, product, and backend/frontend teams
  • Drive technical decisions and establish coding best practices
  • Break down requirements into technical tasks and ensure timely delivery
  • Mentor and guide a team of 3–5 developers from a technical perspective
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding and security standards
  • Debug production issues and perform root-cause analysis
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders and provide feasible implementation approaches

Required Skills:

  • 5–7 years of professional web development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with PHP
  • Strong expertise in CodeIgniter framework
  • Strong hands-on experience with React.js
  • Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Strong experience in developing and consuming REST APIs
  • Hands-on experience with AWS EC2
  • Good understanding of server deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL / relational databases
  • Experience with database design and query optimization
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
  • Experience in developing and maintaining live/production applications
  • Good understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure coding practices

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other AWS services.
  • Knowledge of Linux server administration
  • Experience with third-party payment gateway integrations
  • Experience with Firebase or notification services
  • Understanding of application monitoring, logging, and error reporting tools
  • Basic understanding of system design and cloud architecture
